Development of participant recruitment strategy in the project “How to improve health and access to health care of migrants without medical coverage in Montreal” – the case of the Chinese community.
This thesis was written by Ke Zhou as part of his Master’s Degree in Public Health at the École des Hautes Etudes en Santé Publique (EHESP) in Rennes, France, carried out between 2014 and 2016. This report comes from his Development and implementation of recruitment strategies with hard-to-reach communities, conducted under the tutelage of Valéry Ridde at the Institute of Public Health Research at the University of Montreal (IRSPUM), as part of the research project on access to healthcare for migrants without medical insurance in Montreal.

Congratulations to Esther McSween-Cadieux on receiving the best poster on the theme of “New Partnerships and Collaborations for Health Systems Research and Development” at the HSR 2016 Symposium, held November 14-18 in Vancouver, . A total of 16 prizes were awarded for nearly 500 posters presented at the conference. The complete list of posters is available here. The poster focuses on the evaluation of a deliberative dialogue on road safety in Burkina Faso, and can be downloaded below.

This article, first published online on October 22, 2016 in the Health Policy & Planning Journal, was co-written by Aline Philibert, Marion Ravit, Vale ́ry Ridde, Inès Dossa, Emmanuel Bonnet, Florent Bedecarrats and Alexandre Dumont and is a quasi experimental before-and-after study about the maternal and neonatal health impact of obstetrical risk insurance scheme in Mauritania.
