Fruit d’une collaboration avec Handicap International, cette note de politique présente les résultats d’une enquête menée à partir des données sur les patients du projet TRAUMATISMES. L’objectif était d’évaluer l’état de santé et les incapacités des blessés de la route près d’un an après leur accident à Ouagadougou. Cette note de politique a été conçue pour être distribuée à une centaine d’exemplaire aux participants du FASeR (Forum Africain sur la sécurité routière) qui se tenait les 26, 27 et 28 Octobre 2017 à Ouagadougou au Burkina Faso. This study is available in open access in the Volume 191 of Social Science & Medicine Journal until November 9th, 2017. The authors, Anne-Marie Turcotte-Tremblay, Idriss Ali Gali-Gali, Manuela De Allegri and Valéry Ridde documented the unintended consequences of community verifications for performance-based financing in Burkina Faso through a multiple case study of seven healthcare facilities in Burkina Faso.
